Video Marketing Tips - Never Use YouTube For Your Business Web Sites & Blog - Top Ten Reasons

Video Marketing is a great way to extend your reach and build your list. And to market your business I suggest you use all the different video sites, including YouTube.

What I see many Internet Marketers doing though is using YouTube videos on their business sites and I think this is a big mistake. Let's take a closer look at my top ____ reasons why you do not want to use You Tube videos on your business web sites and blogs.

1. YouTube logo says, you don't know how, you are too cheap, you can't afford to host video on your own web site or blog. It's like giving wealth advice while driving a broken down old Pinto.

2. You cannot change the player and are stuck with what YouTube provides. You can't create colored players to match the look and feel of your website.

3. There is no way to auto start or do a URL redirect to your sales page.

4. You cannot put in your video in membership sites as content is public and not protected.

5. There is no way to do tracking links so you can track from where your visitors are coming.

6. YouTube puts search boxes in the video that take your visitor away from your website. These can be links to related videos who may be your competitors.

7. In a YouTube there can be clickable links in the lower 3rd of the screen - Google Ads - that take your visitors to other websites, possibly your competitors.

8. YouTube can change the rules at anytime, and no matter how much you whine, they could care less.

9. What if you had 1000's of videos that make you money on 100's of websites and YouTube ran Super Bowl commercials for Miller Beer, and you had an AA Alcoholics blog or website...Not good for your audience.

10. You basically have no control over the video you produced.

Bottom Line - You Tube for traffic to you, never for your business money making websites. And here's how you can claim your FREE Instant Access to a 6 minute video on how to safely host videos on your money making sites when you visit http://www.s3mediaplayer.com/

IMovie Video Editing Software - A Breeze to Use

Does editing video on a computer leave you scratching your head? Video editing programs can be very confusing for the novice user. There is so much stuff crammed onto your monitor, it's hard to know where to start.

Video editing programs have five to six different windows up on the screen at once. Even more windows are hidden until you click the appropriate button. Each window functions independently and each is sort of like a different piece of equipment. In fact, before computers, video editing was done with about twenty different components. An editing suite was a large room crammed full of all these components. Now, with computers, it is a bit like each one of those components is shrunk down and stuffed into your computer.

Once you learn what all the windows do and how they operate together, video editing will make much more sense.

Most video editing programs are laid out in a similar fashion.

iMovie by Apple is one of the easiest to use.

iMovie is the free video editing program that comes on a Mac when you buy it.

The designers of iMovie started from scratch to create a simple, intuitive, drop and drag program that would be handy for novices who want a nice look but don't want to bother learning a complex program.

Everything you need is right there, but they were smart and limited the onscreen commands to only those that you use frequently. Contrast that with other video editing programs where you are confronted with literally hundreds of commands crammed onto every inch of screen space. That's great if you have used the program a long time and know what every button does, but it will only confuse the novice with choices she probably doesn't even want.

iMovie sticks with the basics and it is all drag and drop.

Music, photos and other media are all easily imported. iMovie provides easy access links into the other programs and all the software is 100% integrated automatically.

I've always been a fan of Apple products and I think Final Cut is the most fantastic video editing software on the planet. However, FCP takes a while to learn. iMovie doesn't.

If you are looking for an easy video editing software program, iMovie is another fantastic reason to leave the PC behind. iMovie knocks the socks off Windows Movie Maker.

How to Tweak Your Profile With Videos

MySpace pimps and tweaks are quickly becoming a great way to share your interests with your friends and the rest of the world. With a few tweaks you can add videos, music, graphics, and custom layouts to your profile and dramatically change the way you present yourself to the world. One of the best ways to pimp your space is by adding videos of your own or from others and adding something fresh to your profile. Here is a guide for how to pimp your profile with videos and keep people guessing what you'll do next.

The best place to find videos for your profile is at YouTube, where you can find nearly any music video, comedy sketch, or other sort of video at the click of a mouse. You already know what types of videos you like to watch, so hit up your favorites on YouTube and pimp your profile with one of them. Once you've found the video, simply copy the code and insert it into your MySpace profile. You can insert YouTube videos in any part of your profile that you want, but you aren't limited to just one video. You can make profile tweaks in every part of your layout by adding a new video in each section.

Making your own videos is also a great way to provide a special greeting or introduction to your profile. You can upload it to MySpace or YouTube and insert it into your profile the same way as any other video. You can find the MySpace codes for their videos in the same way that you find YouTube codes, so go upload a video and then copy and paste the code into you profile. Record a custom greeting that welcomes people to your site and they'll be amazed at how pimp your profile is.

If you want to pimp other people's MySpace layouts, then you can also add videos to their profile by adding a comment with a video inserted. This is a great way to pimp other people's profiles and tell them what you like to see. If you found a killer video on YouTube, then share it with others by creating several custom MySpace pages. Throw it on your profile and then add it via comment to your friend's. There is no limit to the way you can use video tweaks with MySpace.

Adding videos is a great way to pimp your space and share your style with others. I like to add my favorite music and dance videos, but there are so many videos on the internet that you'll never run out of video tweaks. MySpace codes make it easy to add and remove videos at your discretion, so start experimenting with your layouts today. Don't forget to try recording and inserting your own custom videos too. People will be amazed at your pimp skills when they log on to your profile and see you on their screen. They'll think you are famous now that you've got your own profile starring you!

Let MyPimpSpace.com help you pimp your Myspace Profiles with cool Myspace Video Codes. For more information please visit: http://www.mypimpspace.com.

Candid Family Moments Make Great Internet Marketing Videos

I was in my office recording a group of Internet marketing videos when my oldest daughter, only 2, asked to "cheese" (or have her picture taken and/or be on video).

I picked her up, hit the record button, and proceeded to record a short video of me holding her talking about how videos are a powerful way of Internet marketing.

I knew that my video would be on the Internet for a long time and people would realize the value in what I was saying: Instead of grinding on the phone, using the video for my Internet marketing will allow people to see my message over and over again without me calling a list of people.

That is the attraction of video marketing. You do it once, have it go to your website, and get exposure to your site multiple times on something that might have taken you thirty minutes to do. Best of all, minus the camcorder, you can produce Internet marketing videos using free tools found on most computers or the Internet.

This video turned out to be a very, very good video. I expect it to pull views for a long time.

This is not the only time I have used my family to create interesting videos for my business, though. I found some older video I shot of both my daughters playing and turned it into a marketing piece. With a simple voice over I had a powerful video online drawing attention to my website and my business.

Another video used also involved my oldest daughter. She was sitting in the office chair and I started recording. We talked about a home business and that her mommy had the ability to stay home with her full-time because of a home business. How many moms will be able to relate to that?

Videos do not always have to be scripted. Sometimes the spur of the moment captures are more powerful than anything we could write up.

Next time you are around your family, especially children, be sure to have your camera ready. You never know when a great Internet marketing video is going to occur, even if it takes a little bit of editing.

Video Blogs - They're New, They're Hot and They Make Money

Are you a video freak? Do you love making videos on your spare time? Now you can make money doing it! Enter the video blog.

A blog is simply an online journal where the author expresses his or her opinion, or lectures (in a conversational way) about a specific topic that he has experience in. Most blogs allow readers to comment. And one of the best and fastest growing blogs nowadays is the video blog.

With the advent of You Tube and many other upcoming video sites, people are spending more and more time watching videos online. There is much more that one can express in the video than on paper, and it can be done more quickly and effectively as well.

You can easily create a video blog, but you must realize that it is entirely different from a typical blog. A typical blog simply consists of words and perhaps a picture, but nothing more. With a video blog, you will need either a web cam or some sort of video recording device and a computer with video editing software. If you are not willing to spend some money to get a quality video recording device, then you should not start a video blog. You can always try to do a typical text blog at first to see how it works, but you will never achieve the same success that a video blog can provide.

Simply do a video recording on your topic. With excellent lighting and sound quality, edit your video using computer software until it looks professional. Prepare a website and give a brief description about your video, and simply upload it to your video blog. You must remember, however, that the video should not be too long, as you may experience either bandwidth issues, or folks not even wishing to view the video because of its length.

Online Marketing Tips - How I Drive Traffic to My Website

Do you want some online marketing tips that you can use to build your traffic? Well, let me tell you the three methods I use to get more and more people to my website each day.

Online Marketing Method #1: Article Marketing

Article marketing is so effective that I wonder why people don't use it more often. I guess because it takes time and is not as sexy as they would like. In a way that is OK with me because it is less competition. But I am telling you, article marketing is the best free form of advertising you can use. It attracts focused traffic, builds your backlinks, and establishes you as an expert in your field.

Online Marketing Method #2: Forum Marketing

Forum marketing is "easier" than article marketing and almost as effective. I like advertising in forums because I can answer people's questions quicker than I can write a 300-word article. Also, forums are a good way to interact with people and build trusting relationships with them. If I had to choose, I would still use article marketing, but forum marketing is not far behind.

Online Marketing Method #3: Video Marketing

Have you seen some of the crazy videos on YouTube lately? If you are creative and entertaining, then video marketing is the way for you to go. With the right video, you can attract thousands of visitors each month. The biggest drawback I see is that many of the visitors are just browsing, so they are not going to go to your website. But if you make your video appealing enough to attract plenty of visitors, then you will probably get more traffic than you ever thought you could!

YouTube Traffic Secrets

Video is the latest trend to get traffic to your site. There are so many video engines where you can submit your targeted video and start getting lots and lots of serious traffic. I would suggest using YouTube as it is the largest video engine out there.

There are 3 different types of videos:

• Screen capture videos using Camtasia
• Poor mans video using a webcam
• The professional video using high end equipment

If you're just starting out I would recommend using Camtasia to capture your screen and do a presentation with a voice over for your targeted niche.

If you're confident in making a webcam video go for it, you can easily edit it in Windows Movie Maker. If you have the budget to make a professional video, I would highly recommend it as the more professional the video looks the more likely it will drive you traffic to your site.

One special trick of trade when making a video is to add a water mark to it. Add the water mark to the beginning of the video, during the video and at the end of the video.

Another trick is to add a call of action to the video such as an arrow pointing to the description telling the user to click on the link, add this to at the beginning of the video as well as at the end of the video.

If you can't be bothered to make your own videos you can always hire a professional to do it for you by going to guru.com or elance. These websites are excellent and I have used them in the past to get a lot of videos made for my niche which in turn have driven me lots and lots of targeted traffic.

To submit your video to many video engines all in one go I would recommend using the free service provided by Tube Mogul. Tube Mogul is a service which uploads your site to multiple video engines all in one go.
